Mind Treasury

Now, you humans exist in what we refer to as a vibrational level. We use that terminology simply b/c it's a terminology that gives you some type of a potential to grasp a concept, a concept that we can use an analogy to give you a description of. And that is that this vibrational level that you exist in exists in the same time and space as all of the vibrational levels that exist throughout all of creation. It's like the radio waves that you have within your universe. You understand that within your universal existence within this Earth system that it's possible for you to send radio waves, frequencies, that can be transmitted. You can have thousands of them transmitted simultaneously -  occupying the same space and occurring at the same time. Yet, you have the capacity, through the utilization of various receiving apparatus to tune in to one particular vibration, to one particular radio frequency, while eliminating all the rest.

You see, time & space are illusions. They only exist in your conscious state, in your awake conscious state. In altered states of consciousness, you can get glimpses of the understanding that time and space are illusions. In this awake, conscious state it's very difficult to step out of that concept of time and space. That's what we refer to as one of the human consciousness belief systems that you agreed to participate in.

This vibrational level that you choose to exist in is unique. It's quite different from any other vibrational level that exists throughout all of creation. You and others that also agreed to exist within this vibrational level choose to put in place and to maintain what we refer to as an electromagnetic type of energy. Which some have referred to as a veil. It's an electromagnetic type of energy that limits your capacity while in your awake, conscious state, and in the other various areas of consciousness that you participate in in this vibrational level from understanding who and what you truly are.

You are the creator of the reality that you experience. Many individuals are challenged by that particular statement. They would suggest that there's absolutely no way that they can create this reality. That's your choice. That's a belief that you hold, and the reality that you experience in your day to day activities will reinforce that belief. And, indeed, you can have it if that's what you desire.

You are a spark of consciousness that has the capacity to create. You, as individuals, and as a group of entities, are responsible for the creation that you experience. Absolutely. It's like when you walk into a theater. When you walk into a theater you understand that what you view projected upon the screen is a trick of lights. You understand that it's not real. You understand as well that that's someone else's projection of what it is that they desire for you to experience. And you also understand that while you're existing within that particular illusionary reality, that you can experience the full range of emotions in a very short period of time. You can go through the full range of emotions and you can understand when you leave the theater that it wasn't real. The emotions, while they can be quite entertaining while you're sitting within that theater, don't have the same impact when you leave. They're not real. You understand that they're not real because the illusion that you experienced up on the screen was not real. If you understood that you are the creator of the illusion then that illusion would loose its significance. The emotions and feelings that you experience would not have the same intensity.

And that's really why you came here. You came here to experience a range of emotions and feelings that you cannot experience in the same intensity in any of the other vibrational levels throughout all of creation. That's why you came here. The rest is an illusion. You can have whatever it is that you desire. It's a reflection of your imagination and desires and your expectations. You create it from a position of absolute unconditional love.

Many individuals look to others for answers. You look to others to find some connection to your spirituality. You cannot be lost from your spirituality. It's who and what you are. It exists inside each and every individual. It exists within each and every atom of your entire existence. You will only find the answers by looking inward and bringing into your consciousness the connection with a portion of your higher self. With that portion of spark of consciousness of who and what you truly are. Some level of the energy that you are exists throughout the entire universe that you exist within. You may ask, "How is that possible?". You see, you believe that this universe is this huge concept. And, yet, it is nothing. It's an illusion. It only exists because you believe it exists and you exist in it all. Even your scientists understand that, in terms of what you might call some type of solid form in your reality. There is very little of that so-called solid form. Even in your atoms. They understand that it is mostly space. Scientists understand that within your atom there is more space in terms of your electrons and neutrons that are involved in the atom than there is space involved in your Earth's systems in all of the planets and stars that exist in your so-called universe. If that's the case, if there is more space between the components of an atom than there is between the components of your universe. Then there really isn't too much to this universe, is there? It's mostly nothing. What there is in that so-called space in the atom is the energy. That energy indeed is who and what you truly are. And you as an individual and every individual existing within this entire vibrational level exists within each and every atom. You see, your concept, once again, of space and time means that you are this huge, large mountain and yet you're not really. And yet you are. You are all that's possible for you to conceive and you are less than it's possible to you to conceive. You are all that is, and you are nothing, all at once. For time and space are illusions. They are not real. The answers are inside . . .

around 13 or so, i heard JS Bach's Chaconne in D Minor for Unaccompanied Violin on the car radio. I was stuck in the crappy Corsica with my dad while Karl Haas' radio program, Adventures In Good Music, came on the classical station. the violinist Nathan Millstein's Stradivarius came over the air playing this piece. this . . . leviathan . . . this fury of genius that is the Bach Chaconne filled my 13 year old head and jarred it into fruition.

i had started playing the violin when i was 8 years old, but it wasn't really until around this time that i actually wanted to practice. i would get home from school and practice for 5 or 6 hours a day. there's a performing arts high school in my city that I auditioned for and got accepted (que the theme to Fame). we actually took dance instead of P.E. the other half the day I went to the magnet school across the street for academics. when i went to this place i would bring copies of biographies of famous violinists and read those instead of the textbooks. I read the biographies of Nicolo Paganini, Jascha Heifetz, and Fritz Kreisler. names that only violinists, except for Heifetz maybe, know by heart.

the Bach Chaconne inspired me because I vowed that someday, however long it takes, I would play that incredibly difficult, beast of a piece from beginning to end without it sounding like crap.

Chris Rock Is Documenting Every Time He's Pulled Over By Cops By Taking A Selfie

when I first saw this headline I thought, "how many times can the guy get pulled over? maybe 2 or 3 a year?" According to the article above, Rock decided to start taking the selfies after getting pulled over 3 times in 7 weeks.

(Chris Rock from "Pootie Tang")

Rock was also pulled over twice more earlier this year.

this is what Rock said in December when he was interviewed with New York Magazine and spoke about the racism he encounters as a black male in 2015:
“I mean, I almost cry every day… I drop my kids off and watch them in the school with all these mostly white kids, and I got to tell you, I drill them every day: Did anything happen today? Did anybody say anything? They look at me like I am crazy.”

i remember Rock joking about 'driving while black' during his second HBO stand-up special, Bring the Pain. that HBO special, by the way, holds up quite well 19 years later. it's sad, not ironic, when life, in this case, imitates art.

For your viewing pleasure, I give you the YouTube link to Chris Rock's Bring the Pain (1996), the full special. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-opn0LzBR8

Hugh Hefner Built A Secret Tunnel Between the Playboy Mansion and Jack Nicholson's Home

"Non Gratum Anus Rodentum" was the motto for the Tunnel Rats over in Vietnam in the 70s. it translates as "Not Worth a Rat's Ass". It's also the title of the first track on Jucifer's new album, District of Dystopia. jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles http://www.alternativetentacles.com/ label is coming out with a vinyl version soon. A few weeks ago, i picked up a copy of Jucifer's за волгой для нас земли нет (Rough translation: “there is no land beyond the Volga”). thank the giant lizards in the sky for cut & paste! what first interested me was the concept behind the album. it sprang out of Gazelle Amber Valentine and Edgar Livengood's childhood love for books about Russian history and culture. the album itself is about the Battle of Stalingrad during WWII and the role of women in combat. Amber Valentine's vocals (especially on the B side) are brutal and nihilistic as fuck. that's what i love about this album. it hits HARD mimicking the chaos and visceral hatred of war. Jucifer’s glacial doom comes with flashes of complete aggression in the form of beligerent sludge, & frantic black metal. i've been spinning it and spinning it and spinning it. it rewards the listener the deeper you listen to Valentine's chugging bass and Livengood's competent drums. i give this album FIVE OUT OF FIVE LAVA HELMETS!
